Why a Foundation?

Garden Spot Village Founder Dale Weaver believed that Garden Spot should not be an island unto itself; instead, Garden Spot should make an impact on senior living in New Holland, central Pennsylvania and around the world. He also believed that Garden Spot team members and residents should make a difference in their world. He led by example, sharing generously with his community.

Inspired by the Life of Jesus

In this video, Steve Lindsey, CEO of Garden Spot Communities, reflects on our mission: Inspired by the life of Jesus, we cultivate vibrant community for purposeful living. At Garden Spot, we look to Jesus as our example—how He lived, served and loved others shapes the way we build community. With a shared commitment to be kind, do good and show love, we strive to create a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and called to purposeful living. Discover how this mission inspires everything we do—from daily interactions to long-term vision.
